Online Wizard conjures up magic for mineral cables

Leading UK manufacturer AEI Cables is bringing a touch of magic to its website with its new Accessory Wizard for Mineral Insulated Cables (MIC).

The Wizard is proving a popular online tool for contractors and specifiers alike, giving options to enter cable characteristics or an imperial gland reference. The corresponding information provides the appropriate MIC accessories for selection and provides the number of cores, light or heavy duty, conductor size and accessories. It also refers to answers in metric or imperial sizes.

A series of online tutorials demonstrate the various MIC accessory procedures including how to terminate MIC in a visual step-by-step guide.
