Services go electronic at AEI Cables

Leading UK cablemaker AEI Cables is developing a range of electronic communications services for the benefit of its customers.

These include the enhanced website Cable Wizard for visitors to size and decide which cable is most appropriate depending on the application.

The Cable Wizard features covers all cables and can also be adapted for new designs of cable and linked to datasheets and CAD models. It can incorporate new installation methods to reflect modern techniques.

AEI Cables has also launched a new electronic newsletter for its existing and prospective customers which includes company news, industry news, views and comment.

Derek Mansfield, managing director of AEI Cables, said: “We want to keep in touch with our customers and prospective customers through what is most appropriate for them and these are additional channels which we think they will appreciate.

“You can’t beat developing relationships through meeting people and this helps us to complement that by providing information services of real value.”
